January 26. 2015

Okay, so Elder Bayles and I have been working so hard. This week we will have 11 baptism dates schedules. We have witnessed so many miracles this week.

One it was with one of our investigator families. This week we went to them with and the Spirit of God burning within us. We sat the couple down and were very straightforward and we basically like family advocates. We shared this example with three knifes and three cups. We related it to family, work, and church. We explained we have to maintain a balance with all of these priorities or else the others will collapse. They were able to express their feelings to each other, which was wonderful.

To make a long story short - we set some goals together. He will find someone to work for him so he can have more time with his family.  They now realize that they need to come to church. The family that we thought would fall apart is now growing back together!

This week has also been a week of trials. My faith has really been tried this week. But I am praying hard and trying to be strong. It just hurts to hear and see all the pain in other people’s lives. But as I am enduring these trials and I have been seeing miracles in return.

I hope that all of you can feel the love that Heavenly Father has for each one of us.

Love you all,
Elder Mattias Malzl
